Shrimp Scampi

This garlic, buttery, savory shrimp scampi recipe is the perfect meal for any occasion. And guess what! You can complete this entire recipe in less than 30 minutes tops. Just follow the directions and you and your guest can all enjoy this very popular dish. Shrimp scampi is always a favorite in my book.

1lb(s) Peeled Shrimp Buy Fresh | |
1tbsp Olive Oil | |
1 Medium Onion | |
1 Medium Red Bell Pepper | |
Salt and Pepper Use amount at your discretion | |
2tsp Minced Garlic | |
2tsp Italian Seasoning | |
4oz Melted Butter 1 Stick of Butter | |
1tbsp Lemon Juice | |
1/2cup White Wine | |
8oz Fettuccine Pasta | |
1/4 cup Parmesan | |
1/2 cup Chopped Parsley Buy Fresh Organic Parsley |
Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Heat olive oil in a medium sauté pan over medium heat, add onions and red bell pepper sauté; until onions are golden and red bell peppers are tender, 5 minutes

In a medium casserole dish, combine shrimp, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, garlic, sautéed onions, and bell pepper, butter, lemon juice, (add thinly sliced lemons, optional), and white wine.

Bake for 10-15 minutes, until shrimp turns pink and is fully cooked.

Stir cooked fettuccine into the mix, add parmesan and fresh parsley. Enjoy!

Notes
1) If you want to make it creamy add ¼ cup of heavy cream to recipe
